X2 Alice (PH) 1107 1221 Hoshina Utau (SC) Madrid

Congratulations to all the winners that advanced. Those eliminated include Haruhi (Surprisingly), Mikuru, Suigintou, and Rin. Yes! Rin is out of the tournament! Eliminated by Taiga! (All that’s left for her is the match to determine where she stands) Taiga is awesome! I’m pretty satisfied with today’s results overall. Maybe Taiga could go for the top…wait, she’s against Fate next.

Also, Utau managed to pull off a win against Alice. I don’t remember how Utau was not able to get in (or how Amu did). Or maybe Alice is not that good.

Next up: Winner’s Bracket (Round 2), 13th place match (part 1), and Relegation (round 5).

ISML- 2nd Round of Elimination

Anime Saimoe Round 4- Group D Finals

Result:

Koromo (Saki) 700, Amu (SC) 440

Koromo thoroughly beats Amu and advances to the top 8. I’m sad to see Amu go, but happy that Koromo moves on. I’m considering her as my favorite out of the remaining Saki characters, and probably my favorite out of all of them. Read more…

Anime Saimoe Group C Finals

Result:

Louise (ZnT) 846, Momoko (Saki) 837

Saki drops two straight as Louise pulls a 9-point upset against Stealth Momo. In the past 4 matches a character from Saki was up, only one advanced. Is Saki weakening?

Anime Saimoe Round 3- Groups C2 and D1

Results:

Group C2: Momoko (Saki) 770, Kyou (Clannad) 657

Group D1: Amu (SC) 655, Komoe (Index) 546

Momo and Amu advances. Glad Amu gets to see another match. She has passed her previous best last year where she went down in round 3 against Kagami. I may have trouble siding with her in her next match.

By the way, Clannad is falling fast. Currently, we have Nagisa and Ushio left. I’m thinking they’ll be out by the end of round 3. I am unfortunately siding against them as well. Read more…

Anime Saimoe Round 4- Groups C1 and D2

Results:

Group C1: Louise (ZnT) 784, Mion (Higurashi) 559

Group D2: Koromo (Saki) 792, Hanyuu (Higurashi) 566

Koromo!

Sad day for Higurashi as the remaining characters are eliminated. It’s different from 2007 when Rika was the champion and Rena was a semifinalist. Same with Lucky Star. Louise, however, is still as powerful as ever.

Well, I’m happy that Koromo’s still in. She’s just so cute! Even when she’s evil. Read more…

Anime Saimoe Round 3- Groups A2 and B1

Results:

Group A2: Yuuki (Saki) 878, Utau (SC) 384

Group B1: Kana (Saki) 713, Fuuko (Clannad) 625

Saki rules again! Yuuki defeats Utau rather easily, while Kana stuns another strong character, Fuuko. I wouldn’t be surprised if the champion is a Saki character. Read more…

Korean Best Moe Round of 32- Groups 13-16 (end)

It does not look like I posted groups 13 and 14′s matches, so I will post it here. Here are the results of the last set of matches:

Group 13: Ami (TD) 1320, Index (Index) 1145

Group 14: Mion (Higurashi) 1419, Miku (SZS) 1172

Group 15: Kagami (LS) 1668, Azaka (KnK) 1003

Group 16: Louise (ZnT) 1395, Utau (SC) 1345

I’m positive that I did post the last match, but I didn’t see it in the site. Oh well.

Ami wins over Index and Mion beats Miku. I guess Miku is not as strong as  thought. Today, Kagami gets an easy win while Louise cuts it close by 50. I would have liked to see Utau win. Read more…
