How can I forget Kagamin. With all this about Saki, K-ON!, and Toradora, I cannot forget an old favorite. Anyways, Kagami advances to the quarterfinals.

Korean Best Moe- Mion vs. Horo

Result:

Horo (SaW) 1265, Mion (Higurashi) 1254

As expected, Horo wins. Unexpectedly, she won barely. This match was surprisingly very close with Horo winning by ONLY 12 points! I really didn’t expect Mion to be this close against last year’s champion. Looking at the time graph, there was actually a point where Mion was leading! I would probably have been happy if she did win, but in the end Horo wins as originally thought. Still, time for a new champion.

Korean Best Moe Round of 32- Groups 11 and 12

Korean Best Moe Round of 32- Groups 9 and 10

Here are the results of the last match:

Group 9: Kyou (Clannad)1755, Sanae (Clannad) 638

No surprises here. These matches were pretty straightforward. Sanae was only a minor character compared to Kyou. Mei was sorta a minor character, but she was against last year’s champion.

Korean Best Moe Round of 32- Groups 5 and 6

Here are the results of the last match:

Group 5: Ui (K-ON!) 1374, Evangeline (Negima) 1353

Group 6: C.C. (Geass) 1441, Maria (HnG) 1369

Both matches were pretty close. Ui wins by 21 while C.C. wins by 72. Maria is out.

Korean Best Moe Round of 32- Groups 3 and 4

Here are the results of the last match:

Group 3: Haruhi (Haruhi) 1403, Rena (Higurashi) 1393

Group 4: Ushio (Clannad) 1532, Winry (FMA) 1206

Ushio wins easily. The big match, however, was Haruhi vs. Rena. Rena is out just 10 votes behind Haruhi. 10 Votes! This is probably the closest match so far this year. I was cheering for Rena though, so I’m sad. 10 votes! I wonder how tomorrow’s match will be with Yuki vs. Mio. I have my doubts unfortunately.

Group 5: Ui (K-ON!), Evangeline (Negima)

These matches could go either way. The first match features a minor, but popular K-ON! character and a popular Negima character that seems to be strong here. The second match has two popular characters from two different popular series. It is hard to make my predictions for these.
